Purpose

This position is accountable for providing accurate, timely and efficient payroll services to all BIPO’s customers in Taiwan. The successful applicant is required to assist in the timely preparation of payroll related data, statistics, and other reports from the Human Resource Management System. He/She will assist in the provision of an advisory and consultancy service to BIPO’s customers (on-site payroll HR administrative support will be required) on a range of payroll related matters.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the operational aspects of payroll processing and associated activities, including salary disbursement, over-payment recovery, leave management and reporting are accurate and delivered within appropriate time frames and are compliant with relevant legislation
  • Prepare complex payroll and human resource information for data input and assist in checking, quality control and maintaining records to ensure accuracy, service quality and data integrity
  • Assist customers in meet their insurance, taxation, superannuation and other legislative and statutory obligations through processing and preparation of returns, related reports, forms and other documentation as requested
  • Provide a responsive, accurate client advisory service on payroll matters, resolve difficult enquiries and assist in identifying payroll errors and implementing corrective action where required to ensure employee payments are processed accurately and database integrity is maintained
  • Provide and promote service excellence and foster effective teamwork and business relationships
  • Contribute to the application and monitoring of HR practices, principles and delegations
  • Responsible for the customers’ process improvement by participating in a range of payroll and service delivery reform activities
  • Act as the key account manager for client communication at operational level
  • Provide onsite HR support at client’s office
  • Work together with client and BIPO IT team in system design, development, testing and implementation of BIPO e-platform
  • Work closely with BIPO IT team to provide ongoing system support to clients
  • Attend meetings when required and assist any other HR projects

Requirements

  • Degree holder at least 2 years of equivalent payroll or Compensation & Benefits experience
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Good command in writing English and Chinese; proven ability to communicate, both orally and in writing as well as in a clear and concise manner
  • Sound numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in payroll, and the use of a computerized payroll system (e.g. SAP), or other relevant database/HRIS
  • Strong supervisory and people management abilities
  • Proven ability to work effectively either as an individual or member of a team and relate effectively with staff on all levels
  • Fast learner in picking up new information, processes and procedures
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, identify and solve problems
  • Mature, able to work independently, resourceful and self-driven with a strong sense of commitment
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills

Purpose

BIPO is seeking a qualified individual to fill a Project Consultant position. The professional in this role will possess the business and technology acumen to interact with senior personnel internally and externally, be able to form key relationships, and be seen as a project advisory leader. Therefore the ability to manage stakeholder needs and expectations is essential.

This is a hands-on position that involves leading many small to medium and large sized projects simultaneously. This position requires significant attention to detail as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks with geographically separated teams.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in consulting activities to provide HRIS presales support to enterprise sales team
  • Analyze customer requirements and prepare System platform demonstration environment, system configuration
  • Engage in presales consulting activities including prepare proposals and carry out demonstrations, etc.
  • Ensures that projects meet or exceed expectations by guiding all project activities to include, but not limited to, schedule, scope, UAT and quality control
  • Partner with R&D team internally and with customer externally to design, test, and maintain any necessary integrations, as well as ensure existing interfaces continue to run smoothly and provide accurate results
  • Provides proactive, strategic system consulting services representing HR-owned data to the customers
  • Provides guidance to payroll team members in the areas of project lifecycle, operating procedures, processes and practices
  • Acquires an expert knowledge of existing business and technical processes, and applies this knowledge to assigned tasks and projects
  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships

Job Requirements

  • BA or BS required.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, managing HRIS projects for full life-cycle, from initiation to implementation and close
  • Prior experience implementing HR systems such as Talent Management, Applicant Tracking, LMS, and HCM is a plus.
  • Must have strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills, including facilitation and presentations.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; proven ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner
  • Sound numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Personal and people management abilities including team building and conflict resolution
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and identify and deal with problems
  • Mature, able to work independently, resourceful and self-driven with a strong sense of commitment
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
