Leading global payroll and people solutions provider, BIPO partnered with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KADIN) at the recent CEO’s Luncheon, on 31 January 2023.
Attended by 50 of Indonesia’s most influential and prominent business leaders, the discussion forum aims to re-align business and HR strategies to navigate today’s dynamic business landscape in a post-pandemic world. A key highlight was the panel discussion, with its stellar line-up of speakers that included the Indonesia HR Practitioners Association, Deloitte and BIPO.
Mr Arsjad Rasjid, Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, shared with participants that to achieve the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision, Indonesia must leverage its potential, wealth of natural resources and talents.
He shared, “We must make a roadmap to achieve the Golden Indonesia 2045 target. Therefore, as a strategic partner for the government, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will make the 2045 Strategy Roadmap one of our priority programs in 2023,” said Arsjad.
Highlighting the need for Enterprises and SMEs to accelerate digital adoption and digital transformation in today’s increasingly volatile business landscape, Mario Widjaja, Country Manager, BIPO Indonesia, shared, “This event becomes an agenda for KADIN and BIPO, as a business partner in Indonesia, to highlight key trends affecting the country, and raise topics of common concern.” He added that these topics might delve into the economy, policies affecting workforce planning, or other fields.
With robust discussions and a sharing of ideas and perspectives by keynote speakers, the half-day session concluded with an understanding among participants that business leaders must align Human Resources with technological advances quickly to produce a more agile and capable business.
