This role is responsible for the company’s IT infrastructure and information asset management, IT operational support, system administration and deployment and execution of IT projects for North Asia region. This role is based in Hong Kong and reports to IT Security & Infrastructure senior manager in Singapore, dotted line to Managing Director, North Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the implementation and operations of the organization’s technology infrastructures encompassing Data Center & facilities, Network and server services, service monitoring, infrastructure utilization, uptime & alerts monitoring, Enterprise storage & backup services and related software
  • End-to-end accountability and overall responsibility for infrastructure, networking, server support & administration management, and Disaster Recovery functions
  • Oversee the execution of infrastructure related projects and ensure infrastructure services uptime and SLA to business, operational requirements are met and complied with
  • Document, develop, update and maintain documentation (logical and physical) and policies on managed Infrastructure assets and setup
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure related matters of the organization North Asia offices, branches DR, hosted sites and facilities
  • Work collaboratively and engagement with business, operational, vendors and Regional leads on innovation and technology initiatives
  • Monitor, collate and reporting on Infrastructure performance, utilization, availability, incidences on a periodic basis
  • Develop and manage costs, while maintaining budgets, to continuously optimizing projects, and internal operational expenditure
  • Strategic input on Architecture, design and analysis
  • Project involvement and lead for Infra-related project and initiative
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and equipment, office PCs, upgrade planning, and renewals of software subscription / hardware maintenance. Liaise with IT vendors for support and IT equipment purchase
  • Maintain system availability (servers, database, network), active directory, group policy management
  • Manage BIPO system administration and deployment (software installation) and regular version update for all on-premises and private cloud clients based on client’s time preference
  • Perform regular IT operation (e.g., PC audit, DR testing, backup restore testing, etc.)
  • Support information security and respond to information security incidents / system availability issues
  • Maintain IT policy and procedures and IT audit certifications / compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC audit)
  • Perform / lead IT projects upon request

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science / IT or equivalent with 8 years’ experience in HRMS industry
  • Strong experience in IT operation and management support, administration of Windows server, SQL Server, IIS, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting and network equipment.
  • Experience in ISO 27001 compliance and knowledge in both on-premises and cloud-based solutions with Amazon AWS / Aliyun / MS Azure Cloud are a must
  • Able to self-learn new things and lead IT project independently, knowledge sharing, documentation
  • Be contactable for after-office production support issues if needed
